De voorbereidingen zijn afgerond en onze voorstellenbrief voor de nieuwe cao voor easyJet cainepersoneel is klaar.
De afgelopen periode hebben we op verschillende manieren input van onze leden verzameld. Via de ledenenquête, de infosessies en vele gesprekken, mails en berichten is een duidelijk beeld ontstaan van wat er leeft en wat voor leden belangrijk is in deze cao onderhandelingsronde. Die input vormt de basis voor onze voorstellenbrief.

De prioriteiten van leden vormen onze inzet
We hebben er bewust voor gekozen om van onze voorstellenbrief geen lange wensenlijst te maken. Onderhandelen vraagt om focus en duidelijke keuzes over waar we ons aan de onderhandelingstafel op richten.

De inbreng van onze leden heeft daarin duidelijk richting gegeven. Roosterstabiliteit, een goede werk-privébalans en harde afspraken over het rooster staan centraal in onze inzet. Een goede structurele loonontwikkeling is een belangrijke tweede prioriteit.

Daarnaast bevat de brief een aantal gerichte voorstellen over onderwerpen die zijn ingebracht en die bijdragen aan goede arbeidsvoorwaarden en prettig en gezond werken in de cabine.

Zo ligt er een voorstellenbrief die realistisch en duidelijk is, met de wensen en prioriteiten van onze leden als basis.

Nu naar de onderhandelingstafel
De cao voorstellenbrief is gedeeld met easyJet en woensdag 9 september starten we met de onderhandelingen.

Onze inzet is duidelijk en gebaseerd op wat leden ons hebben meegegeven. Vanuit die basis gaan we de gesprekken in. Daarbij kijken we steeds naar het totale pakket en naar wat uiteindelijk het beste resultaat voor het easyJet cabinepersoneel oplevert.

We nodigen iedereen uit om de volledige voorstellenbrief te lezen. Daarin staat welke keuzes we hebben gemaakt en waar we ons de komende periode voor gaan inzetten.

Our proposals for the new easyJet CLA

The preparations are complete and our proposal letter for the collective labour agreement (CLA) for easyJet cabincrew is ready.

Over the past period, we have gathered input from our members in a number of ways. Through the member survey, information sessions and numerous conversations, emails and messages, we have gained a clear picture of the issues that matter to our members and what they consider important in this round of CLA negotiations. This input forms the basis of our proposal letter.

Members’ priorities shape our negotiating position
We have deliberately chosen not to turn our proposal letter into a long wish list. Effective negotiations require focus and clear choices about what we want to prioritise at the negotiating table.

The input from our members has provided clear direction. Roster stability, a healthy work-life balance and firm agreements on rostering are at the heart of our negotiating position. A solid structural improvement in pay is an important second priority.

The letter also contains a number of targeted proposals on issues raised by members that contribute to good terms and conditions of employment and a positive and healthy working environment in the cabin.

The result is a realistic and clear proposal letter, based firmly on the wishes and priorities of our members.

Now to the negotiating table
The CLA proposal letter has been shared with easyJet, and negotiations will begin on Wednesday 9 September.

Our position is clear and is based on what our members have told us. This will be our starting point as we enter the discussions. Throughout the negotiations, we will consider the overall package and what will ultimately deliver the best possible outcome for easyJet cabin crew.
