De zomervakantie komt eraan, dus even een korte reminder. In deze drukke periode gebruiken collega’s de Schiphol(parkeer)pas soms ook privé, bijvoorbeeld om te parkeren op P30, P40 of P5 tijdens vrije dagen of vakanties.

In vakantieperiodes voert Schiphol extra controles uit. Blijkt tijdens zo’n controle dat iemand de pas privé gebruikt, dan nemen ze deze in. Dat heeft vervelende gevolgen. Zeker als de pas gekoppeld is aan functies die je nodig hebt voor je werk, zoals toegang tot gate-deuren. In sommige situaties is een collega daardoor tijdelijk niet inzetbaar.

Dit is al bij meerdere collega’s gebeurd, dus laten we dat voor zijn. Daarom nog even simpel:

Gebruik je Schiphol(parkeer)pas alleen voor werk. Dus niet buiten werktijd en niet privé.

Het lijkt misschien onschuldig, maar de gevolgen zijn echt vervelend.

Use your Schiphol (parking) pass for work only – even during the summer holidays

With the summer holidays just around the corner, here’s a quick reminder.

During this busy period, some colleagues use their Schiphol (parking) pass for personal purposes, for example to park at P30, P40 or P5 on their days off or while they’re away on holiday.

Schiphol carries out additional checks during the holiday season. If your pass is found to be used for private purposes, it may be confiscated. This can have serious consequences, particularly if your pass is linked to functions you need for work, such as access to gate doors. In some cases, colleagues have been temporarily suspended from work as a result.

This has already happened to several colleagues, so we’d like to help prevent it happening to others.

The message is simple:

Please use your Schiphol (parking) pass for work purposes only. Do not use it outside working hours or for personal use.

It may seem harmless, but the consequences can be significant.
