In deze nieuwsbrief delen wij graag de laatste updates met betrekking tot de easyJet cabincrew cao en de AMS-base.

Nu de cao-onderhandelingen zijn afgerond, starten wij op korte termijn met het aanpassen van de cao-tekst zodat deze volledig aansluit op de gemaakte afspraken tussen alle betrokken partijen. Ons doel is dit zo spoedig mogelijk af te ronden, zodat onze leden beschikken over een actuele cao in zowel het Engels als het Nederlands.

Op dit moment werken wij aan het aanpassen van de VNC easyJet AMS salariscalculator zodat deze de nieuwe salarisschalen correct weergeeft. Wij informeren jullie zodra deze aanpassingen zijn doorgevoerd.

Maandelijkse bijeenkomsten
Tijdens de cao-onderhandelingen hebben wij de maandelijkse bijeenkomsten tijdelijk opgeschort, zodat de onderhandelingen prioriteit konden krijgen. Vanaf maart worden deze bijeenkomsten weer ingepland, zodat wij de vragen en aandachtspunten van onze leden kunnen blijven bespreken.

Ben jij Fit to Fly?
In ons vak staat veiligheid voorop. Een belangrijk onderdeel hiervan is jouw persoonlijke fitheid om te vliegen, waarvoor je zelf verantwoordelijk bent om deze te monitoren en te beoordelen.

Bij veranderingen in je gezondheid (tijdelijk of permanent) dien je Sectie 6.12 van de OMA te raadplegen voor verdere richtlijnen. In bepaalde gevallen kan het base team medisch advies opvragen bij een Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) in de vorm van een Fit to Fly-certificaat. De kosten voor het verkrijgen van dit certificaat worden in dat geval door de werkgever vergoed.

In this newsletter we’d like to share the latest updates regarding the easyJet cabin crew CLA and AMS base.

Now that the CLA negotiations have been concluded, we will shortly commence with adjusting the CLA text to reflect the agreements made with all parties involved. Our aim is to finalize this as soon as possible, so that our members have access to an up-to-date CLA document in both English and Dutch.

VNC easyJet AMS pay calculator
We are currently in the process of adjusting the VNC easyJet AMS pay calculator to reflect the new pay rates. We will inform you as soon as the adjustments have been completed.

Monthly meetings
During the CLA negotiations we temporarily postponed the monthly meetings to ensure that the negotiations were given priority. From March onwards, the monthly meetings will be scheduled again to ensure that we can address the questions and concerns of our members. If you have any topics you would like to see discussed, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

Are you Fit to Fly?
In our line of work safety is our number one priority. An important part of this is your personal fitness to operate, which you are responsible for to monitor and asses.
In the event of any changes to your fitness (whether temporary or permanent), ensure to observe section 6.12 of the OMA for further guidance. In certain cases, the base team may request medical advice from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) in the form of a Fit to Fly certificate. In such cases, any costs incurred in obtaining this certificate will be reimbursed by the company.
