5453! Are you opting-in or out?
The deadline to opt-in or out of the 5453 roster is almost here. You have until the 2nd of September to inform the 5453 team if you want to op-out or opt-in.  All crew members eligible to opt out have received an email on the 12th of August with instructions on how to put in their opting out request. More information on the 5453 roster and the opting-in and out process can be found on the 5453 Hub on the Connected portal.

Calls from Crewing during rest
It has been brought to our attention that on a few occasions Crewing officers have reached out to crew during their rest, post a standby duty. Please be reminded that crew are not obligated to be available for crewing or any other employee of the company during their rest.

When on standby crew are required by easyJet to be available to receive an assignment on the day of the scheduled standby and/or schedule changes for duties in the future. Standby’s are pre-notified periods of time scheduled on your roster for these purposes.  More information on this subject can be found in the OMA, chapter 7.

At the end of your flight duty Crewing has a 30 minute window to apply any changes to your roster. You need to acknowledge these changes via the eCrew app on your phone or eCrew portal on a pc in the crew room. Failure to check for roster changes can result in an additional call from Crewing.
