easyJet background May
Yesterday we have announced the outcome of the vote for the tentative collective labour agreement. The tentative CLA has been accepted by the majority of our membership. We are pleased with the outcome of the vote as this extension of the CLA will offer financial relief to our members.
We are strongly motivated to return to the negotiation table in September to negotiate a new CLA which our members can be proud of. We have shared our proposal letter with our membership on the 3rd of May. This proposal letter will remain the base of our ask. You can find our proposal letter here.
We will remain in contact with you over the coming months to ensure that our proposal letter still reflects your needs. We will do this by scheduling info sessions and sending out questionnaires, so keep an eye out on your email and the VNC easyJet AMS Cabin Crew Facebook group.

Pension update
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been involved in the process of finding a new pension provider for the easyJet cabin crew. The contract with our current provider LifeSight expires at the end of this month. easyJet has requested the expertise of AON to put out a tender and explore the different options of pension providers. The VNC and our pension specialist, Jan Kars, have attended several meetings with AON and easyJet. By the end of this week the unions can express their preference for the new provider with the information that has been shared with us. The board of the easyJet section will meet up with our pension specialist again before making our preference known to easyJet. We are confident that with our experience and his knowledge and expertise we can make a well informed decision of which we will keep you updated.
Monthly meetings
A lot of changes have taken place in our AMS base over the past months. With the CLA negotiations and the recognition of the FNV our monthly meetings with easyJet were less frequent and put on hold. We are pleased that we now have a monthly meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 22. The monthly meetings are led by the base manager, now Isabella Mazzotta, and are a great moment for easyJet to provide business updates and for us to raise any concerns and questions we might have on behalf of our membership. We will update you via our newsletter about the monthly meetings.
